When installing this product you will either need to construct a false chimney breast to accept the depth of the fire and line it with non combustable material or have a suitable chimney with the Dru chimney conversion kit installed in order for the fire to work correctly. The standard Balanced flue kit consists of a 1 meter Smart flue raising up from the top of the fire, then a 90 degree connector which vents out through the external wall. The Smart Flue adapter, is a 1 meter straight Smart Pipe, and a Smart-Standard (150/100) Connector which will allow a connection to a circular concentric flue pipe which may continue up through a suitable flue. This appliance comes standard with a temperature display remote control which allows the flame height to vary between high and low from your armchair with a fully automated electronic ignition Also be aware that due to the fire producing heat the interior of the fire may become marked over time through general wear and tear which is quite normal and to be expected. The inside of the glass may also require cleaning from time to time due to condensation that may form on the inside of the glass. Due to the number of size measurements and complexity of this fire it is strongly recommended that you have the appliance on site / in your possession to take accurate measurements from before proceeding to construct any false walls / chimney breast or creating apertures in existing brick built chimney's to avoid potential mistakes being made.
