NOTE: Please ensure to have a survey carried out by a Gas Safe Register registered gas installer to check and certify the compatibility of your chimney or flue with this fire before making any purchase to avoid disappointment. If there is already a correct sized air vent within the proposed room of installation then the no vent glass canopy option will not be required when installing this product. The 125mm 5" gather hood option is available if you are connecting to a prefabricated flue or in instances where the product is being installed into an open chimney without a liner, which will also help to minimise heat loss and soot / debris falls onto the fire. However the gather hood can only be purchased and used in conjunction with the no vent glass canopy option regardless of whether you have an existing air vent in the room. Please note that whilst soot deposits on a gas fire are quite normal and to be expected, they will be more visible on a pebble or driftwood fuel effect. Similarly you may experience discolouration on the stainless steel back panel behind the fire which will vary in degree dependant on the flue pull and other local conditions, which again is quite normal and to be expected. It is recommended that this fire should not be used as a sole source of heat rather as a secondary source in conjunction with central heating.

Corian is an advanced blend of natural materials and pure polymer. Since its introduction in 1967, Corian has proven itself to be remarkably durable, surviving the majority of impacts, nicks and cuts that can occur with daily wear and tear. Corian surfaces can be almost fully restored with mild cream abrasive and a damp cloth meaning the likes of cigarette burns for example can be easily removed in this way. Corian is a solid material where the colours and patterns run through the entire thickness of the material and cannot delaminate.
