Note: All measurements are in Millimetres. Surround measurements do not include hearth depth. The delivery service offered on this product is based on a one man only delivery. Due to the nature and weight of this product, you will need to arrange additional assistance to offload the goods from the vehicle when it arrives at your premises. Please ensure you have a survey carried out by a qualified Gas Safe Register registered gas installer to ensure the compatibility of your chimney / flue or intended location for a powerflue version, before making any purchase to avoid disappointment. This fireplace requires a class 1 chimney, class 2 prefabricated / precast flue or powerflue for homes with no chimneys, depending on the model you select. Powerflue models will require an electricity supply. The above fires do not normally require additional ventilation in the room. Cleaning - Casting requires only the minimum upkeep and is should remain in superb condition for many years. Matt Black, antique or Duracote finishes can be maintained by simply dusting with a delicate dry paintbrush. WARNING - Cast iron products are vulnerable to rust and tarnishing if exposed to dampness or water. Avoid the use of damp cloths, water-basted liquids, furniture polish, detergents, oils, grease etc. onto the surface of the cast iron. Should your fireplace become wet for any reason, dab it gently with a simple dry cloth. This should prevent any tarnishing or rust from forming. It is normal for some discoloration to occur to the working parts of a cast iron fireplace. Powerflue A powerflue or fanflue is an open fronted gas fire which has an electronically driven fan system mounted on the outside of the wall to expel the flue gases away safely. Although a sound from the fan when in operation is to be expected you may also experience some natural air circulation from the open flue when the fire is not in use which is quite normal. Please note in cases of power failure (power cuts) to your property this fire will not work. The fan electric supply can either be via a 13amp socket or fused switch spur installed by a qualified electrician. The slimline fan on the outside of the wall only protrudes from the wall and does not require a guard although one is available at an additional cost please ask our sales team for further information. When installing the Powerflue you may need to choose a fireplace with a 3" rebate for additional depth dependent on the total amount of depth you have in your cavity wall. Balanced Flue This fire does not require any electircal supply or a special rebated fire surround / mantelpiece, just an immediate external wall, natural gas supply and a minimum 50mm thick non combustible hearth. Maximum flue length supplied with fire is 685mm. Multifuel Please ensure to have a survey carried out by a qualified Hetas approved Solid Fuel engineer to check and certify the compatibility of your chimney with this stove before making any purchase to avoid disappointment. Note: This stove produces substanial heat output which may affect the interior and exterior appearance of the stove, over time through general wear and tear which is quite normal and to expected when burning Solid Fuel. All Boiler Stoves have four 1" BSP tappings for water connections. If you would like further information on Solid Fuel, call the Solid Fuel Association on 0845 601 4406 or Email sfa@solidfuel.co.uk or to have a look at their website www.solidfuel.co.uk.
