NOTE: The Hearth thickness is 58mm. NOTE: Please note that all the above sizes are in millimetres (mm).NOTE: The delivery service offered on this product is based on a one man only delivery. Due to the nature and weight of this product, you will need to arrange additional assistance to offload the goods from the vehicle when it arrives at your premises. NOTE: This fireplace is made from small real marble pieces finely crushed and bonded together called micro marble and is only suitable for gas or electric fires and cannot be used with a real solid fuel fire. NOTE: Natural Marble is a natural material and varies in colour, veining and texture which is to be expected. These features are characteristics of marble and must not be considered as defects in anyway. Colour and shade reproduction may also vary from the pictures shown on our website which is part of the beauty that makes each one individual and unique. Marble in its natural form will exhibit variation of formation, veining and colour with inherent natural shakes and fissures. It is accepted practice to fill, reinforce in one way or another and in no way is to be regarded as a defect. Natural marble is subject to change and different veining as no two pieces are exactly the same and therefore cannot be guaranteed as it is a natural product of nature out of the ground, with all associated characteristics and as such must be appreciated accordingly. NOTE: Limestone is a material that has been formed over millions of years and as such is prone to fossils and other natural inclusions that are formed within these materials. These features are of no detriment to the stone and it is what makes this material unique, due to its variety of patterns and natural variations as no two fireplaces are the same. Most Limestone fireplaces will have air pockets on the surface which may be stopped and filled as required. Limestone is generally a robust material although being of a porous stone it is subject to staining from spillages from drinks such as red wine, tea, coffee, marker pens etc. Please therefore avoid placing drinks hot or cold onto the fireplace and always wipe away any spills immediately. Whilst it is strongly recommended that all Limestone fireplaces be sealed twice a year with a suitable sealant, there is still no guarantee that staining will not occur. All information contained in the website is to assist in your choice of a suitable fire. This is not intended to be all the information required to install your fire. This can be obtained from Caterham Fireplaces themselves.
