Fireworld always recommend a survey be carried out by a qualified registered installer, specific to the goods you are interested in, to check and certify the compatibility of your chimney, flue or circumstances, before proceeding to make any purchase to avoid disappointment. If you do not already have your own approved installer, then the following information may be of use to you.

Please refer to the list of organisations below, which represent the governing bodies for the installation of gas, electric and solid fuel products & appliances. Please note none of the gas fires shown on our website are suitable for Static or Mobile Caravans or Park Homes under any circumstances.
Gas Safe Register
The Gas Safe Register replaced Corgi as the official resgistrar of approved gas fire installers.
We strongly recommend that you always use a fully qualified Gas Safe registered installer
Corgi
Corgi used to be the the official registrar of approved gas fire installers. However, they still provide information regarding gas fire installation matters.
HETAS
HETAS is the official body to approve solid fuel heating appliances and installers.
NICEIC
The NICEIC is the independent voluntary body that covers the electrical contracting industry independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK.
